Empowered Theater & Arts

A Vision for Community: The 2025/2026 Membership Program

Introduction & Scope

We are launching a new tiered membership program designed to generate sustainable revenue, enhance brand loyalty, and deepen community engagement. This initiative is rooted in our core values, transforming every membership into an act of participation in our mission.

🎯

Financial Growth

Increase annual donor-based revenue to fund productions and support our talented artists.

🤝

Community Building

Create a formal structure for members to feel valued and connected to our mission.

⚙️

Operational Efficiency

Establish a clear system for managing membership benefits and communications.

Our Core Values: The “Why”

Our mission is to clear the path to creative expression and equitable opportunity for artists with disabilities. This membership program is a direct extension of that mission, built upon our foundational values.

This radar chart visualizes our six core values, showing how they are interconnected and equally important to our organization’s identity. Each axis represents a value, creating a balanced and holistic view of our guiding principles.

Proposed Membership Perks

Based on sponsor survey feedback, we’ve identified a range of perks designed to offer tangible value and deeper engagement. These benefits are categorized to align directly with our mission.

The bar chart above shows the popularity of potential membership perks from our sponsor survey. This data helps us prioritize benefits that are most desired by our community, ensuring the program is both appealing and effective.

Brand Alignment: Perks with Purpose

We’ve designed a system where member perks are not just benefits, but are intrinsically linked to our core values. This flow demonstrates how member engagement directly translates into mission fulfillment.

Potential Brand Conflict & Mitigation

The “Reserved Seating” perk presents a potential conflict with our values of Dignity and Advocacy. We must ensure that convenience is not perceived as a measure of a member’s value.

The Conflict

Tying better seats to higher donations could create a tiered system of value, which conflicts with our mission of accessibility and inclusion.

The Solution

  • Reframe the perk name to “Patron Seating”.
  • Prioritize accessibility seating needs first.
  • Offer “Early Access” seating for all members.
  • Focus marketing on the impact of the donation.

A Values-Oriented Sister Program

To further our mission, we propose a parallel program that encourages non-monetary contributions and direct support for accessibility.

This donut chart illustrates the different ways our community can contribute beyond direct financial donations. It highlights that volunteering skills, social sharing, and sponsoring tickets are all valuable forms of support that help us achieve our goals.
